Field of study: Educational Sciences
The Educational Sciences programme aims to equip students with the skills required for teaching and learning, through a theory-based and practice-oriented approach, so that they can work in various professional fields, from early childhood through to later life. Educational Sciences form an integral part of all teacher training programmes.
This field of study is characterised by the active involvement of various disciplines and departments at our university, which pool their research and teaching expertise in this area.
Possible degree programmes
Educational studies is a field of study rather than a ‘traditional’ academic discipline. Educational studies is a compulsory component of all teacher training programmes.
