Target audience
The certificate is aimed at students of STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) on degree programmes leading to a teaching qualification for primary and lower secondary schools.
Learning outcomes and skills
- Acquisition of design skills
- The ability to think in an interdisciplinary manner within the context of STEM subjects
- The ability to develop teaching and learning arrangements in accordance with the guiding principles of interdisciplinary education in STEM subjects and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)
Course content
- Teaching fundamental skills in the STEM subjects
- Teaching basic project management skills
- Developing practical initiatives in the STEM field: supervising/supporting a working group, science events, STEM conferences, etc.
